The following analysis approaches the issue which involves the rise and influence of 'armchair experts' and the role they play in an ongoing social, economic or political conflict.
Who are Armchair Experts?
To begin with, who are they, who are armchair experts? people who express criticism with little knowledge gained by them through reading or hearing about an ongoing conflict. While they have no first-hand knowledge or active experience, the concerning part is when they have a potential issue with the general public.
Where do they start from?
As of 2023, these so-called activists have taken over social media as their medium of influence. The reality is quite upsetting that not all users are discerning in their use of social media, the influence of these so-called activists targets those who are credulous in their thinking. The best example is the ongoing civil and humanitarian conflict between Israel and Palestine. The conflict has been humongous and disputed for over half a century. As far as the present-day is concerned these armchair experts appear in a random time frame of this conflict and have successfully shifted the narratives. It is to be accepted as a fact that their power is never to be underestimated. Yes, the power of manipulation, is a mass manipulation in the history of the press and media.

So coming back, we are speaking of a negative influence, how could they possibly succeed in this?
Yes this is where emotionalism plays a major role than factual analysis. As propounded earlier not all people of this day are discerning in their use of social media. Emotionalism plays a major role in attracting people like the poles of magnet to create a sense of sympathy and eventually believing the wrong narrative.
This mass manipulation can be termed as "micro-terrorism". Yes it is a form of terrorism that may not involve casualties or physical violence but the agenda is to inculcate with extremist ideas that ultimately leads to a bigger conflict one day superceding the actual conflict. This creates hate, insanity and a manipulative control that roots all evil and solves no dispute.
